Preloaded images are ignored when moving to a new page

Even after preloading a chapter, I've noticed that changing pages still takes a considerable amount of time. Opening the inspector I see that even though the page has been fetched, another call is made to fetch the page again. And so often times, I'll see that the pages are fetched twice and for some even thrice (1. The automatic preloading of the next 3 pages, 2. They're fetched again when I preload the entire chapter, 3. They're fetched again when I go to the page even though they've already been fetched twice before in full).

Also, the loading spinner does not appear. Instead, after I change pages, the current page is still shown and then whenever the page I moved to eventually receives the newly fetched page, then the image changes.

This is the case when using Safari 12.1.2. I cannot reproduce in Chrome 83.0.4103.97.

@holo Not really a ios specific bug, I remember having it once or twice for a real short time (maybe ended up having 1 or two chapters of older release) on an older chrome version. clearing cache/closing browser ended up solving the problem for the next time. Since it wasnt something that I could "repeat" I just threw it in the "Gremlins did it" pile and moved on

It happens with it when data saver is off. I just turned it off and images now loaded correctly.

In caes it makes a difference, this was happening on macOS 10.14.6, not iOS.
