This is so freaking cool. Love Q’s metatextual madness being applied to the manga format! You don’t necessarily come to Q for its huge twists, as you could see this one from a mile off, but for its atmosphere and presentation. And it’s a good opener to ease us into the series.

One thing I learnt from Fake Documentary Q, always expect the unexpected.

I'm familiar with 3 eps of the Fake Documentary Q series from a YouTuber and this just reminds me I should watch all of them. Thanks!
The sudden shift to pictures of real people took me by surprise for a bit, I'll admit.

Oh this ones very very very fun. I really adore the way the mood is conveyed in the art style. The shock of the Very Real Life Photos. The way it falls apart and becomes rougher and rougher drawings and sketchwork after she tries to explain to her parents.... What Happened. And then it pulls into a very admirably clean but still unfinished normal manga style at the end....

Well. I have to say, as a manga author I think she has a lot of promise. Very solid shojou style.

It's those pesky shadow realm people again, who are pretty much behind 90% of the incidents on the YouTube videos.

Edit: this chapter implies that people with blurred faces are actually direct targets of the shadow realm people, either when they are acting on their own or through a medium like the mangaka. Assuming that all FDQ content has a unifying "worldview", it really brings the dozens of photos in HELTER SKELTER (one of their most effective pieces of content) to mind.
