Proper netorare is from POV of someone whose lover gets stolen. Misery and humiliation are almost essential part.
There is a very popular middle ground, from POV of the lover being stolen. Typically leans netorare, but it depends on the context and the feel of it.

Edit: I honestly thought it was entertaining initially, but around chapter 30 ( I don't remember exactly but a little earlier or later) something akin to rape happened ( when I made this comment) but I still tried to look past it and go beyond and now I am around chapter 50 but I still don't see any hope. Unfortunately, this is something that just can't fit right with me and I believe it can't with any normal person either.
This manhawa unfortunately doesn't seem to have any hope ( atleast not upto where I read it). And yes it has rape and that too of the worst kind and not to talk about the lrotag who still doesn't have his priorities right.

@Trippersigs22 no, not at all. Netori is when the MC steals someone else's partner, and netorare is when the MC gets its partner stolen by someone. Theres also netorase, its when the MC gets another partner while being allowed by its own partner (includes swinging, so not cheating).
