I painted the mona lisa in a sort of pablo picasso cubism style lmao, it looked really cool and it got pretty similar to Picasso's art style, I still got it hung in my house.

Not always. Probably in "phases" lol. Like, first time I probably had such phase when I was in somewhere late elementary school? I kinda dig with all the dark clothing and all (still is). My parents allowed it.

Then when I'm in middle school, I wanna try one of those white make-ups and make those wild hairs thingy, so I kept my hair longer only to be dragged to barbershop when I was still asleep. One of the worst day of my life.

Anyway, I don't really have that kind of interest anymore other than trying to grow my hair so I can try those wolfcut hairstyles sometime next year. Lol. Is wolfcut emo? Goth? Dunno, don't care.

Nope. Doing something like that would make me stand out! I like blending into the background and being ignored in real life.

idk. I mean our president as a child once saw a girl so beautiful he got the love at first sight. She thought he was weird. One time when she was sleeping under a tree, he was on it and fell down. Well, anyway. Stories from my hometown? I kind of didn't live in a "hometown" as a kid.

I lived way deep in the woods in the mountains back when I was a kid. We didn't even have neighbors. Well, not human ones at least.

I remember taking money from the register in my mom's restaurant and using it to buy fries from a different restaurant right next to hers. Despite the blatant theft, it was quite fun and makes me nostalgic looking back.

QoTD 79: Do you have any stories "from" your hometown?

Not much since i only go there on weekends and to visit my parent after work.

But funniest that recently happened is probably last week.
My mom broke her phone roughly something like this:

She then borrowed my dad phone to call me and my siblings to tell about that.
Which made me laugh hard at home.

The problem is not price, so my dad was quickly able to buy one
but that the new phone SIM cards shape wasn't compatible with the one.
The SIM Card was able to quickly able to swap the phone number but not the contacts,
which forces to copy her old contacts one by one to the phone around ~200 contacts numbers.

For context, my mom is kinda like the messenger of the whole family.
If I want to pass a message to my dad / brother or sister,
i often call my mom since she often pick up the phone
unlike my dad or my siblings (and vice-versa). Which create more absurd situations.

I just deal with them until they go away.

You know, this reminds me of some other story, where the hip new thing in school was BeyBlades. I wanted them so much, but my mom wouldn't buy them for me. When she eventually did, however, the fad had already passed.

i close my windpipe (hard to explain how, it's kind of like wiggling your ears) and attempt to breathe in for as long as i can. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but at least i'm trying.
