I remember it like it was yesterday, the same year I got my Driver's License, the Year before I started my College Journey toward an Associate of Arts, I was frightened beyond belief; worried I'd never reach those dreams of mine. And there it was. Distant Dreamer, By Duffy. It was used as the ED for Jojo 6: Stone Ocean's Anime.

It was not the best way to ring in the new year. I find the song pretty depressing to this day. My dream's still far away, and while some call it growth or maturity, I feel defeated because of my acceptance.
Sry, that got too real, umm... Well, I think "Hungry for Heaven" By either Dio or the Brother Firetribe Cover (the latter the one I discovered first) is more of the song which lyric's relate. Similarly it's about people reaching for dreams, not giving up, but having to face hardship before they reach it. It's a lot more hopeful, I think. I wouldn't say I'm a fanatic, but of all the music I've listened to, I've listened to Dio's the most.
