From the moment these symptoms were described, I recognized it.
As I went through something similar -

Basically, anaesthetic was injected into my spine before a surgery, and CSF was leaking out after this. Standing up was not an option - it's hard to even describe the headache and nausea that I experienced, unless I was lying flat - with the head as the same level as my back.
Since the puncture was small, it went after away a week in bed. Not the worst thing, but scary.
