I love people being mad that Ragna actually makes mistakes. SOOOO many manga authors write their MCs as either 100% useless or 100% perfect, and while that can be enjoyable sometimes, I can’t think of a time when I felt like it made a story better.
Another thing I’ve been seeing a lot recently are characters making very uncharacteristic or senseless decisions in order to advance the story. Here, although Ragna has made some bad decisions in the past few chapters, they’ve seemed both realistic and true to his character to me. To me, Ragna feels like a very LIVING character, and one who has a good balance between being a failure and being an absolute beast.
