The cover of this chapter is so surreal.

The theme is something I have seen before, the contrast between a child and the adults that surround them, but Konishi-sensei's art has such a feel to it that seeing little Yoshino all dolled up and innocent surrounded by these imposing men that clearly don't live honest lives, something you can perceive by the little details you see in their hands and posture, and them carrying her things like a blanket, umbrella, and teddy bear, and finally her little hand that almost can't hold two fingers of the man by her side.

The fact you don't see the faces of the adult, and the focus is on baby Yoshino, the world feels so big and imposing at the same time just around her things feel so bright and innocent because she still doesn't understand the world she lives in.

Amazing execution and composition.

I don't know if you've already seen this but sensei posted the colored version on her twitter and is even more amazing imo:

JESUS... the allegory is even stronger in color, there is light around Yoshino, coming from her, it illuminates the world but as it gets far from her it dims, but at the same time... it is still enough to give some light even to the men around her.

Thanks for sharing it.
