As many regulars here are already aware, Music Tournament 5, hosted by Mr_Detective, began last December. He was abruptly banned for no particular reason a few months ago—and though his ban has long since expired, he has yet to log back into the site.
A hundred years have passed since then, and my bros and I have found some new hosts (spoiler: it's us):

With an insatiable appetite for music, it's no wonder Angry_Panda was the first to show up on my doorstep unannounced, rambling (coherently enough) about Music Tournament 5 and whatnot. His contribution to our modest team has been anything but, and we couldn't haverigged it gotten here without him.

Some reports have stated that an unmarked van with the license plate "STERB007" was sighted at Detective-san's last known location. I personally see no relation to our co-host.

Our many sleepless nights would have been far more hellish were it not for pandascepter's moral support. We also probably could've gotten some actual sleep if he hadn't been loudly wheezing in the corner every so often.

To honor the late Detective, Re:Music Tournament 5 will follow the same format and rules.
Each round, songs are randomly placed into groups, with manual adjustments to ensure that no two songs from the same submitter end up in the same group. If a submitter has more songs than there are groups in a round, they will end up with more than one of their songs in a single group. If a submitter would prefer to avoid this scenario under any circumstances, they are always free to donate a song or two to pandascepter. Once donated, the songs will be treated as if he submitted them himself.
Additionally, any contestantsother than the hosts found to be cheating in any way, shape, or form will have all of their submissions forcefully donated to pandascepter, and they will henceforth be treated as his. Any mention of the songs belonging to another user will be subject to ridicule and scorn. We also have Richman on retainer to stealth-edit any old posts that don't fit the narrative.
As a final reminder, tiebreakers will be handled by Mangadex staff.
