It's mildly concerning. Hopefully it is something like just fatigue as you said because otherwise that's prime final arc sorta plotline. Really hope it's not all signs of the incoming axe. Author's Twitter seems fine and Volume 3 just got announced though so maybe just overthinking it.Gosh Luna is too precious.
Meanwhile, this kinda feels like a setup for the classic "otherworlders' presence is somehow tied to the MC and they're draining her energy just by existing there, requiring them to be sent back in a bittersweet parting" kind of plot direction, but hopefully it's just a cold or fatigue.

Could also be that the mangaka intended for the manga to be a short one. Not everything has to be about being axed. But let’s wait and see. These two sure got done quick and fast. It's funny how they don't even pretend these two are even real competition for the Machinobowl.

I think it would be more so general fatigue and relief that the classic setup, besides, I feel like there is something more to the 'jumping worlds' aspect that no one knows yet.Meanwhile, this kinda feels like a setup for the classic "otherworlders' presence is somehow tied to the MC and they're draining her energy just by existing there, requiring them to be sent back in a bittersweet parting" kind of plot direction, but hopefully it's just a cold or fatigue.
yeah, probably; at the very least, i'd greatly prefer that lolI think it would be more so general fatigue and relief that the classic setup, besides, I feel like there is something more to the 'jumping worlds' aspect that no one knows yet.
No. It’s the need for a bigger bed😏😏Though the bigger problem will be the need for a bigger house.
A lot of these monthly yuri manga only run for a handful of volumes. It isn't because they end up getting axed, but because the author had a solid vision in mind from the outset and are writing a story with the intention of reaching its ending, and not drawing it out as long as possible to maintain sales. Keep in mind that a lot of the people who work on series like this one mainly contribute to anthologies here and there, and aren't actually mangaka as their primary profession. That's not to say that's necessarily the case for this series, but its never really given the vibe of a series that's intended to be an especially long running serialization.the familiar sound of an ax

Although with that being said, I could still see this manga running a fair bit longer. Yuri—especially harem yuri—is experiencing a major boom in popularity right now, thanks in no small part to Watanare's incredibly successful anime adaptation. So whether or not this manga is moving into its endgame, or simply the next major stretch of the story now that all five heroines have been reunited with Machino, remains up in the air. I don't see any reason to assume it's getting axed, however.
