Anyway, this series is shit. The artwork is shit, the story telling is incoherent, and it keeps getting dragged on for no good reason. And don't even getting me started on the characters, because all of them are getting on my nerves. Like, what the hell was going on when twintails are about to get raped? And what the hell is the new girl motive? 5 chapters down since she got introduced but we never even get a glimpse of her deal.

In middle school, gyaru-chan confessed to him and asked him to come late at night.
He was stood up, keep waiting for her and nearly died because the weather was awful. Then, a bit naive thinking it was a mistake, it happened 2 time again.
Forcing him to change school because of this dumb gyaru (yeah, she apparently did that bcz she loved him, after asking her "friends" advice).
OFC he got PTSD after that, and a huge hate/distrust of real girls.

He's a bit annoying now, but best girl change him bit by bit, and the reverse is true too.

One of the issues i have with this manga is the emphasis of being a virgin for both male and female characters. Its actually why i quite enjoyed when it was brought up that

the crazy “boyfriend” was actually an otaku just like the MC. He perfectly represents the incel attitude that is justifying why women are less than men and should be only used for pleasure.

Regardless they unfortunately used that premise as a “boy save girl” trope to further push their love. But having said that, dont be hopelessly depressed for being a virgin. Sex isnt the meaning of life, neither is being pure before your marriage or being used goods. Neither is fucking multiple women or proving your masculinity by showing off amd being a bad boy. This manga is truly trash since It touches upon these topics with the self satisfaction that it is somehow above the “culture” that breeds this attitude while enjoying all the tropes that the same “culture” agrees upon.

I enjoy 2D bitches as much as the guys posting below me but dont let the lack of sex or girlfriend be your identity. Dont let it breed a hatred for others based on that. Life is more than that. So enjoy it while you can.

Am I the only one who finds the MC fucking disgusting? He reason in chapter 7 for preferring virgins is: "Otaku don't want to be compared to the previous guy" and "they want to color them in their own color". I know he claims he isn't like most people, but still. Fucking disgusting. He wants a virgin girl because he is: insecure and possessive/controlling—he wants to mark/own the virgin girl.

It would be one thing if his disgusting nature actually caused problems for him, but it doesn't. Ayame doesn't immediately run the fuck away (like she should), and some other girl starts coming after him for some fucking reason. I am usually OK with shitty, wish-fulfillment trash, but this takes it just a step too far.
