If he was strong enough to grab the guys sword mid swing, then why did he even bother sending out his henchman?

@Flavor25 he seemed pretty tired after that one spell (and he summoned a spirit too), I think it only works as finisher... try doing a finisher move against an army alone, you might kill 100 but you still need to deal with the other 500.

He is a demon lord after all, and to be honest I was thinking that a demon lord that lets other fight for him is a little boring, like this isn't Fate!!!..............................or so I would like to think but he summoned a hero just like in fate and now we have another legend. At least, Jeanne is her own master.

Drifter or Fate rip off or not, I won't deny that the gorgeous beautiful Jeanne left me speechless hehehe

Jeanne is also burdened with spouting awkward exposition when she's all alone.

Jeanne d'Arc? JUANA DE PUTO ARCO?????
Japan
Japan why....
Why Jeanne d'Arc again????

Well.....at least she is a Demon Lord this time. Cool, but kinda awkward. How she would compensate the fact that she is now a creature normally associated as contrary to god?

@EtanRed

Name some other very famous medieval female leaders (not queens unless they're warrior queens) / warriors

There shouldn't be that many

@Robbini

How important / big a leader?

Other famous female possibilities (as I know them off the top of my head):
- Boudica
- Grace O'Malley / Gráinne Mhaol / Granuaile
- Hippolyta
- Matilda of Tuscany

Mind you, Jeanne is the only one I can think of who was not a nobility or similar.

There's so much more...

I mean, just in Japan, there was Nakano Takeko, a badass female Samurai who led other women in war.
Other notable female warriors from Japan are Tomoe and Hangaku Gozen, Tomoe is pretty legendary... Female samurais actually aren't that rare, they are called Onna-bugeisha, and there's a ton of them.
Lady Trieu, Thai leader of the Resistance against the Chinese, BAMF too!
And China too had Ching Shih, the infamous Pirate Queen... I mean, she's called a Queen, but she really wasn't even close to nobility..

Out of Asia, there was Lozen, an Apache warrior with pretty much no equals.
Calamity Jane, pretty famous I think. She actually was an incredible scout.
In Ancient Egypt, it's fairly known that probably around half of the Medjays were female, even tho I can't remember any names (male of female, btw). But that could be an interesting background.
From Africa, the Dahomey Amazons, a full female warriors fighting force. Especially Sarraounia Mangou, who destroyed the French trying to colonize her region (she was a Tribal Chief... probably the closest to being a queen from the list)

And that's just from the top of my head. There's probably tons more if I did some research.

By the way, if you can, try checking out Ching Shih, the Pirate Queen... her story is incredible, and I still can't fucking understand why there's no big budget blockbuster telling her story... the script fucking write itself, she was incredible and lead an incredible life (ruthless, but still). I mean, she went from simple prostitute to basically controlling the seas of China, and pretty much ridiculing anyone dumb enough to try to challenge her... be it the British Empire or the whole Chinese Navy...

@Robbini Soo....no actual Queens? No Catherine the Great or Isabel la Catolica?

Okay....so, Queen Boudica? a warrior queen. True, she is from the greco roman era, but being selective with the time period just limit us.....i mean, the Shinsengumi wasn't medieval...

But from medieval times i can think of Aud the Deep Minded, a viking matriarch and one of the first settlers of Iceland.

Amm, Khutulun, from the Mongol Empire, a warrior and relative of Kublai Khan (she might be fictional tho, she is described in the Marco Polo's journal).

Julie d'Aubigny from the 1700's France (yeah, not really medieval), an actress/duelist (she had a rollercoster of a life).

Madame Ching, the greatest chinnese pirate during the 1800 (and a lot of european female pirates, specially irish, like Grace O'Malley and Anne Bonny)...etc

Yeah, we all have an obsesion with Jeanne d'Arc (Age of Empires 2 for me)....but i think this Isekai can be more....creative.
