Ah. So it was the dwarf. The slightly less interesting of the two possible outcomes. I would have preferred if the shinsengumi guy had betrayed him.

I do understand that the MC didnt really feel as if it was "realist" but it's the fact that he was carried away from his "emotions" and unexpected tricks of the enemy that would really affect his way of thinking. Idk tbh it feel as if he was really surprised af when the enemy did something out of his plan like how he didnt know the enemy could dispel any magic that would result to many dwarves getting hit. Also when the chief of the dwarf reminds him of his father as well.

Well in the end of the day, It's just my own opinion~ :v
