I like how Akira breaks when shown a little love. It serves to highlight how the world doesn't need to be dog-eat-dog. I was quick to write this off as another power-fantasy filled with fanservice, but there's a positive message in here after all.

I hope Akira and Katsuya will grow and maybe even get along one day. They seem to come from very different backgrounds, so it'd be very interesting to see if they could become friends.

Sometimes I wish more MCs were as good at scheming and getting vengeance as some of the villains are. No need to execute someone in broad daylight when you can take them out without trouble a couple hours later.
