I mean the art isn’t bad, it’s pretty lengthy, the concept isn’t too shabby
That just leaves the writing. You know, the most important part...

Then again looking at the latest chapters, it seems the art has completely devolved into a much simpler style than the first chapter in order to rush it out, and the manga is now comprised almost entirely of small panels filled with text boxes.

It's a common trap that adaptations fall into, where they are essentially just copy pasting the text into lengthy word bubbles instead of making the necessary changes to adapt it to a visual medium.

Well, it's not exactly original but I like the context, the characters and the relationship between Akira and Alpha as well as the girls. The pace is good and what I like is that Akira does get better but you can't shake off the feeling that this is quite fragile, that if he loses Alpha, he'll come back some average fellow. Art is pretty good too. I think I'm going to buy it.

This one is actually better than expected.

And much better than the original work (WN), the thief arc was horrible in this one, much better here.

Rebuild World is a manga that you all would probably enjoy, it depicts the life of Akira, in a wasteland ravaged by war that is trying to complete a task assigned by a mysterious being from an era long passed. This story was a adaptation from it’s LN. In my opinion, this story is very well made with many nice plot points but it can get strenuous at times due to the brainless mc or moments. If you want to read the LN (payed) go to J-Novel Club and for free (WN) it would be at Divine Dao Library or Light Novel World. Beware the WN and the LN are not the same, if you want a story that is darker and more menacing, read the WN, if you want a story with character development leading towards being nicer and kinder. Read the LN/Manga. Personally, I really prefer the WN because it's rawer and less forgiving then the LN, the plot points are also much more difficult for Akira to pass trough compared to the manga/ln. For example, the next arc (not gonna spoil bc it's gonna be in a while) shows Akira almost triumphing against his enemy's. But in the WN, bro almost died like 17 times, so yeah.

how are we supposed to read that? have you heard of paragraphs?

This manga is going down the drain.
it's a shota handling guns twice his size thanks to the power of a mac guffin, helped by a thirst trap.

Now the action was good early on, it's not anymore.. the art is just a long series of cgi linearts slapped on 2D characters whose integration goes from okay to frankly marginal, to straight up gits 2.0 eyesore. everyone's stiff.
Room design isnt even trying to make things look immersive.
