I think that was the first reason why their group got banned in the first place (pay walling). Then they tried to appeal but got rejected or are still in process.

Iirc, its their groupsite that has a paywall. I think its a time or goal limited paywall then they upload the chapters here after it reaches their set time/goal.

Nope. All the chapters have always been free as far as I am aware. You are probably thinking of a different group.

Nope. the only time gate was that they would upload the latest chapter to their website first, then once a new chapter dropped they would upload that chapter here. No pay walls, no nothing. Their ban was bullshit.

The first time I visited their site (I think their site is called nyanucafe) was after their group got sniped by an AI tl chapter and there I saw chapters with donors only access, can't remember if it was a patreon or kofi. Don't really have ss so can't really prove this, so its just a trust me bro moment.

There should be a better explanation for the sudden removal of the chapter...

What the heck happened? Wasn't the one uploading the original translator and not the group? Banning a group shouldn't get the translator banned. There weren't even any links to nyanu in the chapters that were uploaded.

I can. It doesn't make sense. Like I said: Banning a group shouldn't get the translator banned.
IIRC, there were no links to the previous group in the uploads. I've seen several groups share a translator. That would make things messy.

What is it that you don't understand about ban evading? The poster is still affliate with the group and still post it here.

Nyanukafe never paywalled rebuild world, though we did paywall other series. Sane uploaded the chapters here after removing the group name, links, and everything else, just so people could enjoy the manga.
So “ban evasion” doesn’t really seem like a good reason, especially when no one could even associate the uploaded chapters with the group anymore. From the outside, it honestly looks like someone just doesn’t like nyanukafe.

Mangadex just hates people translating manga. Their open war against groups paywalling ai translated chapters will not kill those groups so what the hell do they think they're doing nuking decent translators...

Man was looking to do a reread and seeing a good chunk of the chapters missing cause mangadex once again shooting itself in the foot. I wouldn't still be here if there was a half decent alternative that isnt using the worst uis known to man.
