@BzzBzz Well, one moron is better than 600... and the problem I've been citing is MANY MANY people doing it. It 100% worked for a fraction of users, maybe not for 1 person, but it did for that fraction.
The number of people following that manga is over
28,000.
That's a success rate of over 99.99%. In any industry, people would call that a success.
No solution is going to completely (100%) solve things. And I'm not suggesting one that will. I just want to do something about it.
the problem is... similar topic pops out very often.
And you'd rather have millions of threads that say the exact same thing? Without that Warning there'd be FAR FAR more. Also, maybe a link should be added to that notice. Some people don't know what discord is.
@Teasday
To begin with, groups and uploaders are free to delete their chapters on their own whenever and for whatever reason they feel like, so this report thing would just make things more convoluted than necessary. Plenty of people delete their chapters for many reasons besides wanting to quit MD (and then possibly immediately reupload them). Coming up with a list of possible reasons would be both long and uncomprehensive. Not to mention I just don't like the idea of having a massive dump of dummy chapters all just saying they're deleted, and I seriously doubt the vast majority of the userbase would appreciate it either.
Your thoughts on a prompt that just pops up whenever a group removes >10 chapters within the span of a day (which is just a drop down list of reasons and a submit button) that isn't grandfathered in and just is for chapters going forward? It doesn't have to be 10 chapters, it could be 20 chapters or 50 chapters, and the pop up creates a single dummy chapter that doesn't ping the Follows list?
