I yearn for the food and tasty meals with companions. Is there anything good that is under the cooking genre of the manga world?

Misoshiru de Kanpai!

If you want a cute romance all about making Miso soup (the good ol' trope of Japanese wives making Miso soup for their husband's in the morning)

looks like Isekai Ryouridou and Yaiteru Futari
I think most isekai tropes basically boils down to "cooking"

by "cooking genre", are you looking for the actual "cooking" or just the "eating" part
because I think that Food Wars is not the wrong answer
now if you're interested in a bit of "cute cannibalism"
then Ningyohime no Gomen ne Gohan

personal favorites, of course Misoshiru de Kanpai! and Aikagi-kun to Shiawase Gohan

I'm traumatic reading this one not the reason you think of

My mental took ginormous damage when clown of the series win a baddie. Like damn.... I feel defeated by fictional character and a joke.

it was a despair like I never feel before, I never feels like this even when reading romance

since i really liked it, im taking the opportunity to introduce Midori no Daidokoro/Midori's Kitchen/Green Kitchen to others even though it doesn't have an english translation. i read the first three chapters when they were free on comic pixiv. it has an entry on mangadex but i think the current english translation of the description there is inaccurate, so i used to as a basis to write mine:

"The world has been taken over by meat-eating plants, 'caroplants.'* Thrown into a silent world with no animals or people, sisters Midori and Sakura start living in a distribution warehouse of a large scale shipping company, Jungle, to survive. For Sakura, who is unable to go outside because of the caroplants, Midori uses their limited food supplies to concoct recreations of meals from their memories."

*caroplant: yeah i made this up. it was originally 肉植, which im guessing is an abbreviation of 肉食/肉を食べる植物 (again, carnivorous/meat-eating plants). the phrase is a kanji compound, making it sound technical, so i tried to invent a word that sounded sciency enough. "carniplant" sounded like it was from a cheesy sci-fi horror flick, so i chose another latin root meaning meat, "caro".

because the parasitic flesh-eating plants seem to have killed most, if not all animals, the sisters are unable to find anything to eat with animal products in it. i think the idea of plant-based comfort foods in the apocalypse that comes from that is really unique. there was also a decent amount of emphasis placed on meal planning, which made the cooking feel more realistic.
