Everyone has some manga they are reading where they go: "This should be read by more people"

Post whatever makes you think that here, does not matter if the manga is actually ongoing or it is finished but getting a translation right now.

My choices are:

Raise wa Tanin ga Ii
https://mangadex.org/title/22801/raise-wa-tanin-ga-ii
A pretty nice romance/yakuza manga, although the romance part is such a slow build the author could choose to drop it if wanted. Dunno if we are behind raws or up to date.

Heterogeneous Linguistics
https://mangadex.org/title/26079/heterogeneous-linguistics
An interesting take on how it would be to study how fantasy monsters have evolved language and communicate with each other.

Touge Oni
https://mangadex.org/title/40113/touge-oni
A pretty cliched Old Japan Yokai, monks and Gods story but reading something like this from time to time is nice.

Journey to the West
https://mangadex.org/title/21071/journey-to-the-west
Same author as Feng Shen Ji. An interesting take on what would happen if the Gods that asked Tang Sanzang and company to make the original Journey to the West where evil. One of the most consistently amazing art styles you can find anywhere.

Blades of the Guardians
https://mangadex.org/title/19942/blades-of-the-guardians
Run to the mill lone wolf gets grouped with some other lone wolves for an epic quest story, this time as a scort/guard, but, what really shines is the setting. Yes, there are a lot of stories set in different warring periods in China's history, but this one explains the context and actually makes use of it better than anything I've ever read.

https://mangadex.org/title/35217/ikoku-nikki Has less then 3k readers the latest chapters, and that is such a bummer since it is probably one of the best manga at what it does (slice of life drama). If you do not like that kind of thing I guess it probably will not change your mind, but seriously it is freaking fantastic.

Most of the other stuff I enjoy are pretty popular though, do not think I need to recommend One Piece for example haha

Pretty fun read and as far as fantasy goes is a breath of fresh air, can be hard to get into but is worth it in my opinion, given how complex the plot is, pretty crazy how it evolves.

I actually think the whole "Time Travel"/"Modern science through the lens of an Old Japan yokai setting" thing it has going on is really novel for this kind of story. Especially with those overlapping Bronze Age - Sengoku - Modern Japan timelines. Anyway, I recommend it as well.

As for me, I'll give my boy Nujima and his sweet artwork a shoutout and recommend Mysteries, Maidens and Mysterious Disappearances.

Since I've got a bit of a yokai theme going, I'll also recommend Neko Musume Michikusa Nikki. It's pretty much what you'd expect from the Golden Sky Stories illustrator: good art, huge cast, plenty of SoL chapters to go through and cute Komainu.

if you're into relaxing comedy with romcom and hidden darkness.
* "Mairimashi! Iruma-kun"
* "Jibaku shounen, Hanakokun"
* "Witch servant and Demon lord horns"

If you're into pure relaxing comedy
* "Maou-jou de Oyasumi".
* "Zannen jokanbu, black general-san"(has frequent fanservice).

wholesome things

I've read so many other amazing manga but I just learned how to save them on my page so these are the only masterpieces I have right now

Favorite manga of all time, changed the my entire view on cultural value and art. Great characters, artwork, story, expression.

You feel bad for the MC, until you realize that you're actually just jealous. Light story, nice writing, lots of love and cuteness.
https://mangadex.org/title/46011/boku-no-tsuma-wa-kanjou-ga-nai

Mafia story about an undercover cop. Man this one is tightly written, graphics are intense, story is intense, it's just really fucking intense.

Now this, this is art. Best of the otome genre carries itself well through a short story. Funny, scary, sexy like the perfect women you could only ever disappoint.

Romance sentai? God this one is cute and innocent.

some of stuffs I can remember:
- Kings' Viking
https://mangadex.org/title/19790/kings-viking
The artwork puts me off at first; but the intensity and flow keeps me on edge of the chair. Character development may seem questionable at first, yet it's a good storytelling nonetheless

- Koudaike no Hitobito
https://mangadex.org/title/15707/koudaike-no-hitobito
Stupid slice-of-life rom-com, idk but somehow I enjoy this. Flow is nice, humor also good

- Ore Monogatari!!
https://mangadex.org/title/7279/ore-monogatari
Old manga, maybe not familiar to newer reader. The flow and plot giving off 2010-ish vibes. Simple rom-com, but tells in a warm and nice way
