I am glad that the Valkyrie actually ends up mattering in the fight beyond being the justification for why a Human fighter can fight almost evenly with a God. I mean, it's still not much, but Hrist's two personality extremes allowing her to turn into two weapons is pretty cool. I really want Kojiro to win the fight against that asshole now.

Kojiro is the typical shonen protagonist in geezer form.
Power of friendship, hopes and dreams, fighting against a cocky opponent, all that.

But am I complaining? Hell fucking no! This is my childhood, my old flame, my guilty pleasure and the flavor that everyone else seems to dislike but I secretly treasure. Nothing wrong with loving something like Mushishi, so what’s wrong with loving something like this? We all need a little bit of the old “hopes and dreams” when it’s appropriate.

I'm pretty sure it will end in a draw. Kojiro is too wounded and tired to finish it "properly". And Poseidon is really looking like to be superior as many of the other gods.

I can't see Kojiro winning but I can't see him loosing too. S what I see is a draw. Both Dying.

@DringDring unfortunately,i can only envision kojiro dying. beacuse poseidon hasn't even made his final move yet.
heck, we don't even know exactly what his power is. all we know is he's an OP existence even with a god standard.

but this is a manga. so i'm counting on the power of the plot armour. as long as it's not too ridiculous, making it the 2nd SnS

@Mogima I think this is "it" for Poséidon. He his a "perfect" being even for God standart. The simplest things are often perfect. He doesn't need fancy move or special attack. Since he is perfect, anything he hit with his Trident die, it is as simple.

I think he is so above the other God it's simply because of that simplicity.

But I wonder who's really stronger between Zeus and Poseidon... And what about the four armed god of India. Wonder who he is going to be fighting xD

I freacking love that manga. No long synopsis, no training phase. A simple, yet brutal, duel between Godhood and Human.

Just sped read this entire manga, I really wonder what will happen after the next 10 fights are over, will the gods have a change of heart? Will any humans even win? Will there be a surprise "we'll revive em since they changed our minds" ending?

So so curious. But also this is the kinda manga that's gonna run for a long ass time.

Came here expecting an ultimate battle between gods and humans.

Sees a bunch of adult-size kids that claimed themselves as gods and some wanking super humans.

Downplay the gods because the author can't think of a battle where human can beat a God worthy of being God?

Quite disappointed actually.

Rereading this and the duel he died in he wasn't elderly how did he grow old and improve after death unless he aged in the afterlife even tho you only use the peak of your life
