@fussion007 No, right now he straight up seems to be lacking in emotion rather than simply not acting on them, the guy has extremely empty eyes when in any sort of confrontation, and sure a fight is a great place to be only logical but this whole martial arts stuff is about always being ready for a fight.
Not saying that he isn't capable of proper emotion day to day, but he has way too much control and restraint on his emotions for it just be a result of some sort of simple principle, as he seems to throw away any sort of emotion he feels, whether good or bad, seemingly out of mere convenience,
rather, the fact that he's even capable of that kinda means that he can just be a sociopath if he wants to, he seems to have empathy and some regard for human relationships but he also seems to be able to wholly throw away his regard for those when he needs to, where they might even just be values instilled in him rather than him having personal attachment to it though the last is more likely to be true only when he feels something is going against his principles
i mean he seems to basically be driven by a pursuit of total self-control, which is not some inherently human principle, he could just become someone with absolutely no emotion and a very loose moral code if he gets extremely used to being that sort of person
( though we can't really say much for sure about his inner nature after the author already gave us plot twists, it could just be born from experience and trying to cope rather than something that totally encompasses his true nature)
while the girl is prideful, lustful, cowardly, egotistic, easily angered and basically super sensitive, almost falling on the opposite spectrum of character from him, fully chasing her desires while also being motivated and restricted by other emotions though in weirder ways than normal people
and while both are lacking in a lot of human restraint and basic sympathy.
( the girl at least does feel properly for zhan hao, even if it's originally and still kind of mainly driven by creepy and misunderstood reasons,
i won't even say that she doesn't "love" him in some way now,
but whether zhan hao with his erasure of a lot of personal emotion would be capable of that, is unsure)
though i'm also aware that those are pretty common traits from her about sociopaths, but she just seems too sensitive and normally emotional in other ways to be a real sociopath
and I understand that zhan hao's very driven by reason and follows pure and cold principle even when regarding thinking about his own emotions. but i don't know if only him being capable of basic empathy really discounts him from being a sociopath when he's this lacking in other emotions right now, i mean it's not like the love charm changed his principles it only seemed to instill emotion in him lol, something which his obsessions presumably stopped making him feel entirely before that, lets all really hope he gets that sort of emotion from something else later on and for real this time, even if it isn't romantic
it almost seems like the both of them could be normal people, but they're just ruled by very dangerous personal ideas currently
Like some sort of self-made psychopaths, the boy thinks like an obsessive and cowardly martial artist and the girl is a literal manhwa mc and thinks her being given the mc's powers makes her some sort of perfect being, i'm kinda afraid she'll turn into one of those monstrous failed mystic garden masters, she's at the very least interesting and has a cool design, yes, even if you ignore those ridiculous shots of her ass lol.
