These rebellions in stories always baffle me, they decided to kill/betray the strongest people in the Tribe, dividing it and making it into civil war, which will make the tribe weak and easy to conquer by other tribes especially since they are only at ceasefire with another tribe for the moment. Not to mention they want to imprison Grace who is the daughter of the Glow of the other tribe meaning they would have at least two tribes against them while they are extremely weakened.
I'm not good at politics nor war so i might be very wrong, but i still see this as suicide on their part and nothing more.

@StandDemon that's only if she doesn't die. I kinda saw her dying since she never got a child from the MC. Speaking of children.. What happens to the 2nd waifu's girl, now? My guess would be that they'd off her as well to get rid of everyone.
@gameriuxlt yeah, that's incredibly dumb. But people do dumb things because of their greed. It's also kinda ironic that the MC said there's no betrayals within a family in their culture, but just a couple chapters later this happens... Some culture that is LUL XD

Yulian mentioned how they didn't have that sort of thing in their history. Now their tribe does have an example of backstabbing over succession in it going forward.

Traitorous ho got that poison from someone in the empire or one of the other areas outside the desert, I think? Might have been one of the other tribes that don't exactly like this tribe. Still a bit fuzzy.
that antidote doesn't even do very much for her own son, so she did this all for nothing. Manipulated into weakening the tribe by an enemy because she was jealous.
