@tanukihat are you a lawyer? Do you have any education in law? Because for me all you spout is pure bullshit. To your information, scanlators still hold rights TO THEIR OWN translation. Fuck the rest, but even publishers would get in trouble for using this translation. Other than that, what you described makes no sense. Mangadex and less reputable sites have no rights to any (unless they created their own) manga on their page. What they are doing is illegal so saying " I cannot decide who can sell the movie now, or when they're allowed to sell it." is retarded at best and has nothing in common with this situation. Scanlators are doing not-totally legal shit, aggregators are doing not-totally legal shit, there is only a courtesy. Piss scanlators, you get shit and no manga for you. It's as easy as this.
And believe me, "simply because they photoshopped some text and cleaned up some lines. " doesn't even begin to describe what work scanlators do so such ungrateful, ignorant people like you can read their Chinese porn-toons.
EDIT: to specify, as apparently, it seemed like I was protecting the right of scanlators to control their manga. It's not what I meant/wanted to say. Other than translation, there is no right or any ownership. Scanlators can just drop or totally limit their releases (don't even start me about going to IRC to download chapters) to piss aggregators. What aggregators can do? Send shitposters to fanscanlation site? Complain about it on their homepage? So sorry, scanlators have higher ground here. Nothing more, nothing less. Unless it's really popular manga, with multiple groups going for it, if you piss group enough only the readers get shit.
