Reading comments is always as entertaining as the chapter. It's sad that there's no magic or powers in reality, but also really funny when you can quickly distinguish people who would be the stereotypical fodder-like bad guys if they were ever given any. Then again, edgelord's gonna edge.

Many people here make me worried, how fast they would succumb to their own power and nuke/kill/slaughter everyone and everything they dont like. Ellen her only fault here is beeing to soft. She doesnt want her human family to have problems. Even if they can resolve it afterwards, it would end up as big problems.
Therefore with the given informations she had beforehand it was the right decision.

The fault here is more on the father who should have known that this would/could happen and should have told her that. I dont think that she would have agreed to meeting them, if she would have known that.

Just nuking and killing everything isnt always the good solution. We dont know what will happen then.
