Yeah but I will say the manga is a lot less horny than it was at the start. Especially about the little brother.

I have noticed a lack in Kaoru fanservice scenes. The closest thing I can remember is the Christmas chapters (which was like 30 chapters ago) with him wrapping himself up in a bow with the bunny Dara-san plush. I assume the author thinks they'll play it more safe now that the series is much bigger, not sure. That might be the one aspect missing from earlier in the series which is interesting.

I wonder if the anime, by some grace of God ever gets here, that Squirrel is just lounging in a little bath of its own, not needing to work.

Having the squirrel chill in the bath would be a funny wink to the audience, yeah.

The Yasaka flashbacks take place during the Kamakura period, in the beginning of the 13th century/1200, with Tomoes death happening in 1212. So he'd be pretty ancient during the Edo period already.

Nope, shes talking about how the legs are not part of "her" (Koharu)'s body. You can kind of see the same thing with the arms, who also weren't koharus, where she still has the lines from where the flattened arms line up with the dominant one, like you can see during her first transformation into something more humanoid.

Yeah the author stopped with Kaoru's trap fanservice a while back, even the onee x shota teasing between him and Dara San stopped and she's just the neighborhood big sis character to them now, Jurota is Dara's one and only love now.

So now there's a chance that snek is actually a good guy all along disposed of by the locals who's either just afraid or actually have reason to be afraid of him. I mean I guess it's the same village that so easily turned against Dara originally so really not that hard to believe.
Seems all the villain talk is just purely the kind of personality he ended up cultivating by being a tsundere to the girl he likes
