I can't understand why are so many people complaining about filler story and such, I really like the side story and secondary character development. The story have so many interesting characters and it would feel empty if only the main trio or so were to be developed inside the narrative.

Also, all those ship sailing are good to see. (Although I don't really get the amazon/young-princess surprise yuri romance thing)

Anna lacks presence BECAUSE Roland would rather her be working safely in the workshop and making his ideas come to life.
Of course if he can he'd like Nightingale to be safe too, but her abilities are more suited for moments that'd be shown (interrogating prisoners, combat, etc) so she get more screen time.


Fight a giant spooky sea monster? Nightingale.
Create airplane/nuke? Anna.
