KEKEKEKE! An engineer has access to oil? Those poor, poor armies.

Yeah, Echo has a lot more tactical application than I would've initially expected. An easy way to direct a large number of people, keep people organized, and communicate across a large area.

The song used is Chinese, but the story itself isn't really pro-Chinese in any way, especially since China doesn't factor into the story in any way.

Hell, the story got suspended once when it was one of the titles reviewed for supposedly not abiding by the new media rules set down by the government.

@LGear I can tell you one thing - the MC's way of thinking about other people is definitely not western.

If his thinking was European or American it'd break SoD anyway considering his supposed origin story. Besides, this is still a Chinese story afterall.

It doesn't involve China in a way that can be construed as being politically supportive of China or its government. Roland however still has to think like a Chinese person because he did grow up as a Chinese person with Chinese outlooks and values.

China as a political entity doesn't factor into the story at all, but the song that Echo sung and Roland's personalty is Chinese in origin. As far as Echo is concerned, and as far as how the song she sung is used, all she did was sing a song penned by Roland, with no political or patriotic connections to China. Thus, China as a sovereign nation and government is utterly irrelevant to the story.
