That's... the best academic advisement I've come across.
Brutally honest in regard to the realities, but pointing out what to strive towards if you insist upon continuing anyway; if you are going to be a foolish dreamer, don't be an idiot as well.
And our MC has already experienced that reality, so he's motivated.
So... any bets as to whether his housemates are actually those he idolized in later years, who haven't assumed their professional names yet?
Or... if not, will they be supplanted by the MC and his housemates?
I wish my academic advisor from Software Engineering and Games Design course was like her. I would've learned early to quit instead of pushing through with something I was terrible at before dropping out after 3 years. I was much too immature back then to realize what I had done. And now I have a huge student debt from that course that I dropped out of.
I'm currently making my own games (self-learned programming) but I wish I have a second chance like this guy. If only I can go back to that time 10 years ago, I would've immediate dropped out of that overly expensive but poorly designed program and enroll in another university to learn about baking bread instead.
@Weasalopes Very high odds of them being the Big 3 - N@na is pretty on the nose considering she's probably Nanako. Same thing with Shino Aki and Shino Akishima
Rokuonji Tsuruyaki =/= Kawagoe Kyouichi but that's the only odd one out atm, and considering he might be a writer, it's possible it's a twist based on Kanji anyway
This is super true, i think arts is the only "unsafe" study, the one that doesn't ensure that you will get a job, and most of the time, you won't, you really have to push your talent and skill over everyone else, otherwise you will go unoticed.
