Ive read MTL of the WN, so Im not really here for the story, but for the art and also for all of the staff's side comments. Thank you Rumpi for adding some entertainment to your translation!!

I've no patience for these long, drawn out stories anymore. Cheating Men Must Die has ruined me!

Seriously though, is the plot just Rashta is an asshole while pretending to be cute, Queen tries to say something, King loses his marbles over and over? That's fun for a few chapters to build momentum but where's the revenge? Bird guy needs to get into gear!

Im surprised to how someone who falls to such an obvious honeytrap has managed to keep the empire afloat.

@ataniphor i advise you to see some history, you'll have quite a laugh at how stupid some of the rulers of the past were compared to the real estate they ruled

So I just powered through the novel. And to be honest, the story is super melodramatic and kind of boring. So many unnecessary things happen. Half the characters are super annoying. Especially that bastard emperor. So I'm gonna just drop the manga and move on

Also bisher hat mir nur das 1 Kapitel gefallen. Ich hoffe echt das dieses Vergangenheit Ding bald endet. Ich will sehen wie die Königin mit Henley verheiratet ist.

I'm still trying to see how he's able to manage an empire when he falls for petty schemes of women even other countries' diplomats can see through. Sovieshu needs to do better but we all know he'll only realize that when it's too late. Reading the novel for this makes me so angry.

I recommend reading the translated novel. Although they got c&d by naver, the translation stops after the divorce scene. It goes much deeper into the inner thoughts of the characters, especially Navi, so re-read it from the 1st chapter. I also reccomend mtl-ing the korean novel from where the translations stop if you can handle it.

Anyone know a villaness-esque story where the "heroine" isn't a scheming evil thot? Gets tiring when every author just switches personalities instead of trying to work a sympathetic "heroine" as the antagonist.

In my very humble opinion, a mediocre novel adapted into a mediocre webcomic. I can indeed see why people would like this. It is an easy read. It is like the Netflix of webcomics (and when I mean Netflix, I am not speaking of the documentaries or "The Irishman", you know). Everyone loves to chill with their Netflix. We weaboo, koreaboo, chinaboo chill with our manga and webcomics.

Listen, I am not looking for originality here. I have come to terms with the fact that nowadays, especially with the avent of the webcomic and with the industrialization of art, a big portion of the webcomics we read come directly from mass production. Made from one same mold. Do I agree with it? No one cares whether I do or not.

But there is one thing that irks me with Korean webcomics especially. Navier. Heinley. Sovieshu. Rashta. What the h*ll is that?! Navier is a family name, ever heard of the Navier-Stokes equation?! Heinley is a strange hybrid between the German family name Heinlich and the English Henley. Sovieshu … A weird Romanian-Georgian inspiration family name?! As for Rashta, it is delicious. For those who do not know, rashta is a lentil-noodle soup.

The Korean tendency to pull names out of nowhere, outlandish names just breaks all the charm (the very little charm there is in my eyes in these types of stories) of their works for me. I just can't get into the story because I am scoffing too much.

Now you wonder why I came to give my very unwelcome opinion on something you love plenty. Actually, I just saw this popping out on the front page of mangadex and felt something snap in me. Another adaptation.
