This manga continues to surprise in so many ways. So many questions about what is going on and why? Does Renge have a younger sibling or was she in some kind of group home? Poor little girl, I just want to hold her so much.

i feel stupid, so renge's grandma put narutos on the postcards after receiving? or she just doesnt remember doing it?
She never sent them, but filled them all the way up. She was a tough little girl makes me real sad knowing subconsciously she probably did just wanna stay with her grandma but didnt want to bother her.

That last page really hurt.
The pain of wanting help but don’t want to be a bother to someone else is so real.
Im glad she can smile and look back on her personal growth instead of regretting about her past choice.

Man, now I have a lot of questions about how we got here. Like, I get that she took the restaurant over to remember her Grandma but there's a big leap from depressed middle school/high school girl to Gyaru.

Thanks for the translation.
Quite a nice chapter, even more because it's a bit unexpected in this manga.

For a chapter called naruto, it turned out to be a Gyoza episode 😜

but yeah, interesting backstory. A lonely, quiet child who decided to transform herself by adulthood. And then fate hit her like a truck and she decided to finally return to keep her grandma's spirit going. We only get small glimpses at her parent, but it seems like Renge didn't get anywhere near the attention she needed growing up (be it from society or malice, it's hard to say).

Also, small detail but it's interesting how Renge was contacted by the hospital. I'm not sure if that's just a cultural difference, but normally your next of kin are contacted first (or your spouse. But I assume Grandma outlived hers). Is the Mom okay?
