Sad back story, almost expected to see her tearing up instead of smiling at the end lol.

Wish she could've visited her grandma again after that one time. I guess the grandma was from the father side.

Reminds me of the Stardew Valley's beginning. The music ran true my ears the moment reminiscing started.
“If you're reading this, you must be in dire need of a change. The same thing happened to me, long ago. I'd lost sight of what mattered most in life... real connections with other people and nature. So I dropped everything and moved to the place I truly belong.”
— Grandpa's Letter
May grandma be happy and proud of their grandchild, because they can smile and laugh with her friends while eating what she left behind in her recipe book. Warm food to be enjoyed with everyone.

What a really interesting piece of characterization for Renge. That she was a shy, quiet kid until sometime after high school and only really became the person we know when she was away from the home is fascinating to me. That she's able to look back on all those drawings and smile shows a level of growth and acceptance I didn't expect. Rather than being heartbroken that she never sent the cards, she's smiling because she's remembering her feelings and understanding that she's where she belongs now.

I really like her. She's got a lot of life and depth for a character that doesn't need to get that complicated. I understand and believe her, when I really only need to find her fun to watch. It's those small touches, man.
