MAn, what the guy is going through with his favorite place hits too close to home.
Got many small places like this around, mostly run by old couples. Their food got very homey taste to them.
Usually this type of place is gone when the ones running the place passes away, most of the time they don't have anyone to inherit it to.

I'm seeing similarities in mannerisms from the granny and the Gyaru... Both do the little peace sign. I have 2 theories. 1. Granny did some murim style transcending and got an age regression. 2.Granny's Daughter or Granddaughter took over the shop after a small touch up and remodel.
