Your entire argument is predicated on this strawman that I believe you aren't allowed to have your opinion. You are allowed to have and voice your opinion. Negative viewpoints are allowed to exist and everyone is free to express those viewpoints.

@dabson: I won't deny I'm an emotional person, but I also have limits of patience, same as anyone else. And despite what you think, you DO need a reason. Maybe it's something complex like it you find something in the contents offensive for x, y, or z reason. Or maybe it's something simple because it just rubs you the wrong way. Regardless, whether you dislike (or like) something is ALWAYS for a reason. I've never come across a situation from anyone, no matter how irrational, where it wasn't. Your assumptions it's hurt feelings is incorrect, pure and simple. It's ok to be wrong.

Tbh, as much as I don’t wanna read this anymore, the art it still fabulous. Probably the hospital scenes the most, it felt damp, heavy, opaque(?) it just fit the mood so much, as much as I don’t want grandma Sayuri to die, it would be such a waste if, after all this, nothing tragic happens.

As much as I agree with both your and dabson’s points, I don’t necessarily agree that something NEEDS a reason, although it is much better if you do something with a reason, you are definitely free from having none.
Also on your point in needing a reason to hate on the mc, they’re hating the mc because, in your words, it is cool to do so, you have your answer, that’s the reason.

Look, I don't care if people say it gets better or whatnot but this is just unreadable to me. all of the characters are just either so dense, annoying or malicious that it makes reading this just feel like a punishment instead of entertainment. I am baffled that this has made it this far without being dropped.

I will concede on not NEEDING a reason, but in my experience, everyone DOES have one whether they realize it or not. Those who don't have a reason typically don't have a real reason to hate either except to stroke their own ego. I'm sure everyone here can think of circumstances how that wouldn't be a reason here that's not manga-related either. If it doesn't work there, it doesn't work here. Plain and simple.

Reading this manga for 150ch .... here's my impression (Kinda forced myself to read it at first.)
Personally for me, this manga about 'journey of POS MC to Gradually Decent Human being' .... the charm begin to take effect for me after 100-ish chapters
the story kinda heavy for me, not the usual 'happy go lucky' story, but wonderfull at later chapters when finally MC gradually regain control of his d!ck.
TBH it feels like walking on buch of thumb tacks at earlier chapters, i always want to at least land a slap into MC face afer reading few chapters.
And now Mami is the prime target for that slap in the face .... you'll see the reason why at chapter 77 .... i got bad premonition from it.

From time to time I feel compelled to read the latest chapter and it's allways 10/10 but every time I try to pick it up I can never force myself to read past the first 20 chapters.
How can there so much gold buried behind such filthy thrash. Though there's not much point to reading chapter 150 if I haven't read chapter 50 so it remains dropped

@shinobu Its so bad that you want to continue reading to see if it gets better.
Honesty my feelings go back and forth depending on the chapters. It does flounder around until really they start the make a movie sequence. personally i do connect with the mc due to my past self, was similar to this till around 14. i get alot of cringe vibes which still happens during the whole movie sequence, but its better cringe.
Part of me wishes Mc would go with sumi since their relationship is actually built of more what builds a relationship, so i feel bad that she kinda gets the friend zoned category.
