Like yes, FMC is quite a shitty person and has done some fucked up shit, but MC literary was a scary type of simp, and from the foundation of the story (revenge plot) we can see that MC still stays the same.
PS: This story is especially scary for me because I watched a few hours of content from a simp about his favorite streamer. And with each part, it was becoming scarier and scarier. By the end, I was actually expecting him to make a video from outside of her house. This story is important because MC in this manga reminds me of him quite a lot, from "kindness" to "revenge"(tbf revenge here is a little more justifiable).

Being very honest: he kinda needed this separation. He was a validation seeker and a douche. He is the worst type of toxic boyfriend a girl would want and learned to be less like this. I don't think those actions of kindness with her during the dates were intentional, showing how much he evolved... Even if he is still petty.
She also needed it. She wasn't honest with him and let things go with the current. She could said anything about his behaviour in seeking her validation, said anything about his misunderstanding, but no. She choose to be miserable and not tell the truth. Relationship like that is doomed from the beginning if they don't choose to change and be better for themselves or to their partner

He was always like that, thou. She literally stated that he reminded her of him with him doing all those actions.
The beginning shows a non-emotional person who doesn't want to give love but receive it.

All his complaints:
:She never said she loved him or even lived him which is big problems after making the relationship official.
:He tried to show her his hobbies like light novels, said stop forcing her to like his stuff, so not taking any interest in him.
:She basically double down like a cheater would and said horrible things and broke it off. We literally have to assume he followed her, like how did he get the picture.

Her complaints:
:He was to clingy, dull, unattractive and tacky
:Required self assurance that you liked him. Or appreciated him.
:Being creepy with the photo taking (Make it the worst level with the stalking or a friend saw it, If it was a series. It would be someone that wanted that relationship ended to take the photo)
If you were in a relationship:
Would you want a partner who didn't say they liked/loved you, or Didnt care about any of your hobbies, berating it or if caught with someone they say "they can see whoever they want."
Or
Would you want someone who is tacky, dull and unattractive. But super kind and cared about everything you did. But I guess stalked you, (but am sure he just saw her coming out. I read no many romance stories it;s never going to be full on stalking other than him being a bad boy stereotype, than she was lying about something. That's how most stalking cases happen. Or jealous person or friend, gave him the picture. If he was that emotional then he would have confronted her then and there. He even got his family to move which is hilarious too. In this economy)
