It’s implied that she knew Karin would try something like this. She had a scheduled send for something in chapter 120, and last chapter she already said that she planned to expose something more from Karin that she didn’t want to tell the others about yet — so there is definitely an additional plan running in the background.

Really disappointed with both Aoi and Karin. Karin’s wig was really a red Herring, I thought mauve Karin will try to use photoshop or AI kinda skills but she uses kidnapping and extortion.. where as Aoi expects Karin to be upto no good but still does nothing..

Well they still did end up having Karin be desperate enough to sell herself (but if it was a handsome and rich client she would've been fine with it)
