@Snakeykid1 You've perfectly outlined the problem of socialist regime we had in our country till ~30 years ago: old party functioneers sitting in their chairs opposing any meaningful initiatives, because it could've caused change, and change could've resulted in them losing their ruling positions. If you've red classical marxist works(which I hope you did), you should be aware of such concept as base and superstructure. Base consists of means of production and relations of production. It shapes and maintains superstructure, which is everything else. If you want to implement meaningful change in superstructure, you have to have a basis, that can support this new superstructure. If basis is not adequate to the thing you're trying to implement, nothing will actually change.

Qestion is: why do I have to explain your ideology to you? You're supposed to know that.
