As others above have stated, this just becomes more disappointing as the plot advances. Though can't really say it's any worse then a lot of the trash manga out there however. Guess its not all that much of a surprise that the pressure to produce leads too what was a passable story slowly deteriorating into a convoluted mess of tropes and clichés.

He controls world leaders, he could have made international pacts to advance humanity, but instead it regressed, people aren't as good at magic as they used to be because he somehow couldn't see the demons' influence and event though his best friend the amber eyed couldn't live a good life because of the stigma against amber eyes he didn't get rid of that either. He just pouted for hundreds of years, waiting for his big bro to come back.
