That whole arc felt out of place in this series, also it didnt really resolve well either.

Also the preggo lady that we are just introduced too I knew would die, good ol yoko kiss of death syndrome.

This chapter has some world building and yet it also feels like it needed more meat too.

Oh I didn't care that much, I knew when she was introduced she was dead. It was super predictable (although not how she died). I always hate when media does that though, very lazy writing.

really? she had a shop, options were Thief's/bad People/ Monsters killing and/or raping her (most likely off-screen).
Killing with focus on the belly was like 99% (because pregnant), even off-screen raping was possible, manga has the same Publisher as Destiny Lovers

I mean in the fact it was a wolf type monster eating her out from the legs/belly. The series until then hadn't really been graphic that way. I just assumed it'd be an off screen death where they either come across her dead body or see people morning her coffin.
