It is not. The Japanese have their own spelling conventions for romanji. The same way most people spell it "Tokyo" despite the fact that it's technically "Toukyou". ”Tu" is just one way of spelling "tsu" for them.

It definitely is. Just wait until you see "Ti" being read as ち. These are all legitimate Japanese Keyboard inputs.

I'm going to be bold in saying, that the hate against the dad is mostly undeserved. He was paying child support. Both he and his ex were not compatible. His visit with his daughter was civil and honest. Yes, him cheating is shit, but he took financial responsibility. At most, I'll say, he was a good financial father, but a bad (ie distant) emotional supportive one.

Yup, nothing could be done (shikata ga nai) about the fact that he couldn't stay with Riri's mom - that marriage just didn't work out. It does feels like he let (although mom also played a minor role in that) himself grew distant with Riri, and the distance never shrunk back, that's why he wasn't present at the wedding, but the photo shows that they still do care about each other to some extent.
