People keep mentioning how the father cheated, but when exactly did this happen?

All we know is that:

• The marriage didn't work out and divorce is the only sensible outcome.
• The mother allowed visitation for the father (JP doesn't really do court issued dual-custody), but cut that off some time later, when he got into a new relationship (what's wrong with remarriage?).
• The mother has cut off the male MC's family too, showing a pattern that it may be an unjustified action.

Its only natural that the father and daughter have drifted apart, but not inviting him to the wedding seems harsh (even not including his new family in the invitation is fine).
