I just realized the real reason they had Ruby pull her teeth was to nerf her so she'd have a proper excuse/reason for losing this fight. They wrote her as a really strong and iconic boxer and i think she's a really great character.

This fukkin punch on pg.15 is bad news. She was able to get a fully extended one out there while at a horrendous angle, after taking a body blow, and already on the way down. Pray to god she doesn’t get the positioning better than this lol

lol i feel like the only fights in this manga that can have goofy scenarios are Okome's only, the author really did a great job on showing how gritty and violent the fights in this manga
