I'm reminded that Ippo became A-rank in chapter 87 of HnI, after winning the all-Japan rookie king tournament.

This manga is, surprisingly, not noticeably faster-paced than super-early Ippo. But hopefully, unlike Ippo, they'll keep the pacing fast.

Man that cop is way too much of a weirdo, not the biggest weirdo on this manga, but Riku could really do with some more normal characters around him, although on hindsight getting acquainted with a cop whose only quirk is a weird boxing fetish may not be that bad, seeing how tragedy keeps following him.
