I love the angst of this manga so much, and how beautiful the art is makes it all feel so good, like a beautiful disaster as they struggle to square their feelings with each other.
It's not even toxic, it's just sad, kinda. These are people trying their best and it ends up hurting each other.
Eri is finally learning that Kyo is not a good match! Kyo is making decisions for her and hurting her and her relationships. I hope that Fuyuki would look and see that her phone before she does more that she will regret.
You don't know that their love is mutual. Eri is obsessed with Fuyuki, that much is clear, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's in love with her.Ok, something more is going on here. Eri wakes up and her first thought after waking up beside her "boyfriend" is "why?" Like, girl and you think you "love" him???
Something is definitively off here. Senpai (did we ever get her name?) immediately picked up what both Fuyuki and Eri are too blind to see: their love is mutual. So, why does Eri think what she feels for Fuyuki is just friendship? It makes no sense.
I think it's because of how all her past relationships that involved romantic feelings in some sort (with men and women) ended in hurt. the idea of liking fuyuki in a romantic way is such a scary thought that it doesn't even cross her mind. she sees fuyuki as someone who could never betray/hurt her and loves her unconditionally. and eri also loves her unconditionally in return, and to her it can only be friendship (even if it might be more), because it can't possibly be the usual transactional romantic love she's used to.Something is definitively off here. You worded so perfectly. I agree with this oneI think it's because of how all her past relationships that involved romantic feelings in some sort (with men and women) ended in hurt. the idea of liking fuyuki in a romantic way is such a scary thought that it doesn't even cross her mind. she sees fuyuki as someone who could never betray/hurt her and loves her unconditionally. and eri also loves her unconditionally in return, and to her it can only be friendship (even if it might be more), because it can't possibly be the usual transactional romantic love she's used to.
College age people are kids. Sure, they're age of majority, but they're also idiots learning how to live.(Saw someone say that they’re just kids. They’re college age, old enough to know what they’re doing)
I feel you hit the nail right on the head.I think it's because of how all her past relationships that involved romantic feelings in some sort (with men and women) ended in hurt. the idea of liking fuyuki in a romantic way is such a scary thought that it doesn't even cross her mind. she sees fuyuki as someone who could never betray/hurt her and loves her unconditionally. and eri also loves her unconditionally in return, and to her it can only be friendship (even if it might be more), because it can't possibly be the usual transactional romantic love she's used to.
I don't think she is gonna regret what she's doing in regards to the physical intimacy with senpai, she might regret stringing her along emotionally tho. Fuyuki is the one pushing for this and the initiative is on herEri is finally learning that Kyo is not a good match! Kyo is making decisions for her and hurting her and her relationships.
