Aside from his inhuman prowess in battle Guts Aegir has great instinct and leadership skills, it's almost not fair
and the fact that he got top advisor of both field,
Military and Governing.
Now a add the Mongol-like bowrider unit as his troop, his force is damn OP.

Ah, the foreshadowing was very clear, it was coming. Poor Adolf gonna go bald soon due to stress. His hairs were falling like rain.

Well, in the novel, Aegir was very ugly. To the point that sometimes he had the urge to kill all the handsome man, including Eric, his friend and his superior.

I know the comparison has been made hundreds of times already but he truly is the personification of Guts, specifically Berserk Chapter 1 Guts.

The nobles aren't being stupid, they're manufacturing a border conflict with refugees. A tactic so historically accurate it's happening today across multiple borders.

I was wondering how Aegir will become a king while being a vassal, but this independent display of power (defeating a royal army) and an influx of manpower from refugees seems to be the start of it.

The situation described in chapter 59 is starting to happen: Treia took in too much land and population (100,000 people while they themselves only had a population of 300,000) from the former Gordonia kingdom.

This land was devastated by the war and the population impoverished, which means it’s Treia would need to heavily invest in rebuilding it while getting almost no taxes. As the territory and population they took in amounts to a quarter of their total population, there is no way Treia can finance this and is forced to raise taxes. This in turn will lead to unrest, meaning even less tax money, and turn into a downward spiral.

Y'all read that isekai where the MC is the "son" of the Gryphon?
A similar border dispute happened there, and as the villagers where trying to cross into the MC's territory they were getting massacred. So one of the villagers purposely tries to get close to the MC and the retarded soldiers continue firing arrows. And one is about to hit the MC, so he catches it and orders his troops to attack the opposing Lord's because they technically tried to kill him.

Thanks for the TL
title?
