Heh, and people doubted her last time! Yet another thing to add to the amazing bits about this incredible manga: actually pointing out that "weaknesses" can still have a lot of asterisks when someone has enough sheer raw power, yes that still matters, and refusing to exploit said weakness and fight honorably in no way ensures getting victory anyway. No, maybe you actually needed to exploit that weakness lol.

Brunhilde has been stated continuous and shown in moments to be absolutely top tier in sheer strength and combat ability, as well as being an intelligent, serious woman. Her weakness is really more like a curse by gods, balancing out her incredible abilities in everything with a debilitating problem that largely robs her of her mind and will. Yet she's often also been sort of treated as a joke character, much as Sieg himself was. It's great to see RGS continue to beautifully balance humor and character growth with real stakes. This is a violent era and the capabilities of top warriors are not in fact a joke, they're just so powerful that they live for other things too.

It also nicely further highlights how cool the casino band of brothers were, or Atilla's use of intelligence and tactical planning. They did do the exact right thing, they didn't succumb to warrior pride, they fought to win for their teams and each other, and succeeded so against a combat demigod through charm and winning her heart. "Like the myths themselves" as it said. Then they further exploited that to score against her again. Here Orochi had pride and indulged in a personal vendetta. It looks like Orochi One might well be stronger then anyone in the casino team let alone Mulan, yet he still is now having... a few difficulties.

"We were the best team that night. No matter what happens, I ain't ever forgetting this." hell yeah Aladdin, many chapters and power growth later you guys were still so damn cool, and indeed no matter what happens we aren't forgetting it!

It's not in her mind. It's just substituting another setting as a metaphor which is common in a lot of gag manga. Though I certainly didn't expect it here.

I doubt she was thinking much of anything lmao.
