You see alladin is able to win from beowulf because he has many comrades to support him, whereas beowulf takes it all on his own shoulders......through this battle and loss beowulf (who for a very long period of time seemed unbeatable) learned that his comrades were always the source of his erection......yes thats thematically relevant to the story, its quite beautiful and sophisticated if i do say so myself.
