It's a warning that she's still a 6 y.o kid that can get lost or abducted or whatever else if they didn't come home on time. Kids have to understand that her parents are worried about her not coming back on time.

@UnknownSaint111 Cultural difference and she's only 5-6 years old if i recall correctly her family would obviously be concerned for her safety.

@YamiryuuZero I'm in my 40s and when I was 8 years old biking 15 miles over to the next town over on the weekend to see my friends (we had one school in the whole county) wasn't that big a deal. I'm sure for grandma who's a whole two generations older than I am, this is even less of a big deal.

when i saw her former home, i thought thats a bit exaggeration? i dont know maybe its probably cuz the material is diffeent but my house that i didnt live for like 7 years are still the same. the glass didnt break or what, its just the dust are everywhere its killing me. probably someone has robbed her former home, the appearance looks so bad D: or there used to be a hurricane to make her former home ended up in that state..

That looks like the paper doors and such from old timey Japanese houses. I'd imagine they require a fair amount of upkeep pretty frequently, being paper lightly stuck onto wood frames. There's a chapter of Flying Witch that shows how you replace the paper on them ('cause one of the cats busted through the paper). It is not a sturdy thing, and they were probably supposed to do something to protect them from the elements and such like close some shutters or something but neglected it for whatever reason.
