Yes, specifically a FF6 reference. The Ghost train is a boss in the relatively early game. Which, as an undead, has a fatal flaw....

Spoiler: Weakness

You can just use a single phoenix down (An item used to revive your party members) on it to instantly kill it. There's a slight chance it'll miss though!

@phil777 The artist is Zac Gorman. His old website is magicalgametime.com but he doesn't post there anymore. He does real comic and animation work now.
