Jesus that’s a fate worse than death (assuming there’s no kill boundary in-game). Slime Boy’s gonna fall for eternity, never dying,
It was a miniboss actually, so going by video game logic there's a good chance that it'll be a reused enemy somewhere. He can't recreate the Strange Rod; the bug only worked with that one early-game midboss and he defeated it already.
Fun fact: If you have no reference point and the rate of acceleration is constant, you'll not notice you're free falling. So at some point the overworld would be too small to see and I imagine that boss would essentially be floating. Although at that point they might as well be too numb from the trauma lol.And now, he'll eternally fall down the sky box. FOREVER.
I'd make the Kars joke, but someone beat me to it on the last page.Fun fact: If you have no reference point and the rate of acceleration is constant, you'll not notice you're free falling. The slime is most likely dead, given there was a loot drop a few seconds after he fell. The world would've still lagged if all the strange rod copies still existed along with the slime clones.
The slow sinking was due to the world still lagging, it only started catching up when he was half way through the floor.if you gitch yourself and fall through the ground then you just simple straight in fall through it, not slowly sinking like that. but hey, shout out to author for he really do research on game and glitch
Ok but now I'm imagining a final fight scenario where, due to the risk of overusing glitches, Shachiku has to fight the last boss.... glitchless no-damage.Its ridiculous how inventive the author is with using speedrunning in fights
One, this was an incredibly original fight
Two, it further cements how 'unique' he is as a protagonist. Its not just that he can use glitches, he can use them safely.
Not just all that, but lately, the characters have been using out of bounds glitches more and more. This time, they used so many glitches the game lagged. I wonder if towards the end of the series, we're going to have real concerns about the game crashing. That all of his uses of glitches up to this point, under increasingly atypical scenarios, will impose increasing challenges.
Man noclipping out of reality was a legit IRL fear when I tcl'ed CS 1.6 when I was a kid and saw the weird limitbreaked game world. I totally forgot about this fear until this chapter. Must be one crazy way to go, not from pain exactly but the sheer confusion when you don't have concept of it and pure nothingness as the skybox and your whole known world fading away from render distance.
Eh idk, GTA V I guess, and some other game over the years, don't play much open world these days so I don't remember muchWhich game does that?
