You know, I feel bad for her but she threw away something good and real and healthy for what? a superficial title with some dick (not a pun)? I know its sad and I understand that people of the same sex can't get married in Japan, but is throwing away happiness really worth a title?

Eugh, I can only see that husband as a plot device to easily antagonize later on. And when that's done suddenly the author writes Midori as being alright in their book. Smells very typical of this kind of stuff.

Doesn't speak to me as good drama, let alone fluff. Unfortunate. I can agree with what another user said in last chapter, wish this was about Maki moving on and possibly finding a new love herself.

@Excelsior You're entirely right. But . . . sadly, there are real guys like that. They aren't even that rare (and there are real women who, for various awful reasons, tolerate them). So yeah, he's a walking plot device. But not an unrealistic one.

We finally meet the husband and dudes a real fucking piece of work holyshit Lmao, I feel like the author is trying to make us feel sorry for the poor girl but in reality I just see MC and Her as a couple of fucking idiots, MC for not moving on and finding a better love life and the poor girl who dropped MC for a sorry excuse of a better life and lying to herself at the AMAZING life she has atm.....all I can say is dam I feel bad for them but they reap what they sowed

@Purplelibraryguy yeah I know it's not unrealistic, my point was on him being there specifically as an ultra-convenient plot device, and especially with no subtlety, if what I hypothesized about the author doing that later on turned out to be true, which only emphasizes the terrible writing.

maybe he’s a walking plot device but there’s a hell of a lot of mileage to be had in persuading Midori that she deserves better, in her husband trying to isolate her, and Midori slowly recovering her self-confidence once she does leave. Done badly, sure they run away and it’s yuri fluff wih a background monster. Done well, I think we’ll find Midori a lot more broken than she looks, and some more realistic healing

She maybe should of run with her, but what good would that do?

Right now, I'm having bad feelings about the husband, and the look on Midori's face tells it all. She's not happy.

I'm not a advocate of the LGBT deal, but I know a toxic relationship when I see it.

Why are japanese so wierd about the whole cum inside me thing ?

When Midori talked melancholy about her pregnancy "Well that happens when he finishes inside"

No you get pregnant when you fuck without condom, pill etc. Im pretty sure every japanese adult knows this as well but its a trope i have seen a million times esspecially in porn, hentai. It seems so immature writing wise , like a virgin did the script. Im just wondering who writes like this when the audience is meant to be mature ?

Oh yeah and the husband is a total douche , he seems dumb too , he's not even trying to keep face :,)

Well husband-kun is the type of person who will leave Midori if he finds someone cute and....Educated at a level higher than Midori.
